What happens in our Retreat?

This is not a Magdalene Sightseeing Tour or an ‘airy fairy’ week, but a deep retreat immersion and powerful initiation in its truest sense, where we practice and walk in her way every day.

We stay very close to the grotto where she lived, in the soft rolling hills near a classic medieval French town, with a magnificent cathedral that beholds her skull.

Daily we steep and meditate in the sacred womb cave and other sanctified, charged places in nature. Alone and together we delve into the rich teachings of the feminine and Mary Magdalene and engage in her way – body, mind, heart, and soul.

We walk the path of sacred union each day with a theme from the Magdalene gospel in the magical forest, delve into refined gnostic, spiritual practices, and drink the wine of love from the ancient grail.

You get to experience resonant relating and profound feminine embodiment ways, filling your cup directly from the Magdalene lineage. And we join in ritual, dance, and feast in celebration at the villas together!

The retreat is abundant and held in a wholesome, organic way to weave the red thread strongly. Here we drop below the usual concepts to experience her hand and fire of love in our feet, womb, and life. In the final ceremony, you’ll receive a powerful initiation into the Rose lineage (by choice). During this special week, you are invited to experience how human and divine are united, how the feminine power is enlivened and liberated in you, and how love is embodied through you. You get to dive deep into your being and walk her way for real.

The Details

Date: 19th -26th Sept 2026

Time: Our Immersion Retreat begins on Saturday at 5 pm and ends at 11 am on the following Saturday.

Location: We will be in the southern area of France, in Aix-en-Provence. The nearest international airport is Marseille. It takes approximately.55 min to drive to Saint-Maximine de Saintes Baume, which is very near our beautiful retreat location.

Lodging: We will stay in beautiful French villas with a swimming pool in the idyllic French countryside. Our cook par excellence is Swaane Lauwrant: lacuisineverte.com. Her meals are literally to die for. She combines Ayurveda, French, Vegetarian, and lots of love in her incredible feasts.
